Why we had the creation of Israel, it's an anomaly:  we have to go back to 1907, a conference organized by the British Empire organized by Minister Harry Campbell Bannerman, produced FOUR POINTS:

1. create a foreign entity which would be in the middle of the Arab world, which was a MONOLITH: sharing the same language, religion, but they had vast oil reserves:  going from coal to oil was a huge revolution 

this entity was "to promote division in the region"

POINT 2: establish an entity that would be under the authority of the imperialistic country

IN VOLUME II, Churchill is mentioned as having commented but is not included in the list of those present, although Wikipedia notes that Churchill was at the 1907 Conference.
